heeya!

went out ytd with wei ting, my long lost friend from cjc. we are like brokeback man, touring the country together. we started out from city hall mrt (at 6pm) where we met, then we made our way through the city link mall and to the esplanade where we had our ice cream, his treat. he took me to a place where couples like to hang out, probably bought back some memories he shared with eileen. its a jetty, a 'carpark' for ships. but...sadly, its sealed up already, we cldnt get in so we decided to proceed to shenton way. Shenton way is sooo damn scary on weekends, the place is totally deserted, its like the streets u see in movies like resident evil and dawn of the dead when a zombie can suddenly jump at u from nowhere. freaking scary. we treaded along the terrace houses and its 730pm and we are in the middle of nowhere. wei ting is very similar to me, we are pple who have no sense of direction, who enjoy being lost. and we embrace the chance of making our way out of this maze. and we love to go around sightsee-ing. he said when we grow up, we (me, him and ben khong) wld drive a car from singapore, to malaysia, thailand, vietnam, china, middleeast, russia, and than to europe!! haha. tats OUR dream. maybe one day it will be fulfilled! ... enuff of dreaming... back to where i was.. after a long walk, we finally reached chinatown. the time is like 8pm already. ting decided to treat me to some dim sum at mei shi jie. we ate some tang yuan and fried food. chinatown is a suoerb place, i went into this shop that sells ancient chinese chop stick, combs. but what caught our attention is this 3 sets of writings carved into bamboo shoots. one of them is the '36 ji' ( 36 tricks??) which cost $168.00 and the other, san zi jing cost 200 plus. the most glamourous of them all is this set of carvings named.. Sun Zi bing fa (sun tzu art of war in english) which cost a whooooing 400 bucks. like what the hell? anywayz, did enjoy myself in that shop. learnt a great deal about bamboo carvings. we continued with our tour....... next up is..... mohammad sultan road where all the famous clubs are. we have the Dbl o, indo chine and others. ting got me to this place to look at great houses with extraordinary price. we saw this condo along clarke quay with a unique swimming pool, theres a bridge above the swimming pool for resident to walk. and saw pple barbequing.. almost decided to join them, we cld have climbed in as the security is kinda low there. proceeded to clarke quay and than to boat quay. finally.... we made our way to dhouby ghaut. ting challenged me to pool at paradigm and we waited like 1 hr before we got a table and the time is already 10pm when we actually opened the table. its been 6 months since i last came here and the pool tables were changed. i enjoy playing pool with wei ting bcus he really sux in it!! lolz...kidding nia... ended our pool session at 1120 and we zao liao...went home.... my bus came 1st sooo i left him behind to wait for his... hope to go out again soon... though we ddnt get a chance to eat the gelare i promised to treat u... but at least i paid for the pool k.... officially we came to the end of our long march...

doing finance tmr... hope i wun be pulling my hair out....
